Professional Gutter Installation That Protects Your Foundation
Gutters aren’t optional — they’re the drainage system that keeps roof runoff away from your foundation, siding, and landscaping. A properly designed and installed gutter system is one of the highest-value investments a homeowner can make. SwingCoast installs professional gutter systems across Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
Seamless vs. Sectional Gutters
Seamless gutters are cut to the exact length of each run on-site, eliminating the joints where sectional gutters leak. Joints are the failure point of sectional gutter systems — they separate over time from thermal expansion, debris pressure, and age. Seamless aluminum gutters are the standard for new gutter installation, and what SwingCoast installs on every project.
Gutter Materials and Sizing
Aluminum — the most common gutter material. Lightweight, rust-proof, and available in 30+ colors. Standard residential size is 5-inch K-style; larger 6-inch gutters are recommended for roofs with steep pitches or large drainage areas.
Steel — heavier and stronger than aluminum. Galvanized or Galvalume coated for rust resistance. Used in commercial applications or where physical damage from ladders or ice is a concern.
Copper — premium aesthetic choice with a natural patina finish. Extremely long lifespan. Used in historic and high-end residential applications across Highlandville, MO and Branson, MO.
Downspout Placement and Drainage
Downspout placement and termination are as important as the gutters themselves. Downspouts should discharge at least 6 feet from the foundation, and ideally connect to underground drainage or splash blocks that direct water away from the structure. We design gutter systems for proper drainage across all pitch types. We serve Lenexa, KS, Harrison, AR, Johnston, IA, and Omaha, NE. Call (833) 492-7663 or schedule a free inspection.
